The dormant loose tubers arrived promptly and well packed. They were in a plastic bag within a sturdy, well taped cardboard box. The "free space" in the box was filled with shredded paper, a good absorbent, and environmentally friendly material. The bag with the tubers in it was part filled with what looked like dry peat, but which may have been coir. The tubers themselves were short stubby or slightly inverted "Y" shaped with what I took to be the growing point a dark brown/black scale on the tip. As a newcomer to this species I had no idea what the tubers looked like, so it was quite intriguing to hunt for them in the packing medium! Once the bag was emptied onto a small tray they were easier to spot and carefully extract with tweezers.
Overall an excellent service.
