This is found from western Mediterranean to north Africa growing in wet alkaline soils from sea level to 2500 m. Flowers from May to July depending on location.
The plants offered are seed raised specimens from true D elata rather than the plants often offered in the UK under that name that are actually hybrids. Best grown in pots so they can be kept in an alpine house or cold frame during the winter. this years stock has been grown in a mainly inorganic mix and the tubers produced are in the main of good size and creamy colour.
Plants are normally sent out potted to customers in the UK. Full growing instructions at the top of this section.
Plants are fully checked when dispatched. Please notify me of any problems within 14 days of receipt. No refund will be made after this period.
