This is the near white version of Bernd, producing flowers that begin cream and as they open the whole flower becomes white. They have grown well this season growing in pots.
All cypripediums sent to UK addresses are sent in 1.5 lt pots of a compost that has been proved to work very effectively in this country. The compost has a high inorganic content which enables good drainage at all times. The cypripediums can be kept in pots or the pot can be sunk in the garden. Planting must be into a spot that is semi-shade and as cool as possible at all times. Cyripediums grow well if they are able to freeze during the winter and must be kept very cool in mid summer. Never allow the pot to dry out.
Plants are dispatched dormant between early October and late March. Plants will come from a cold shade house and under no circumstances should be kept in warm conditions during the winter.
All plants are fully checked when sent out to ensure quality and they are disease free. Any complaints should be made within 14 days of receipt. We cannot be held responsible in the following spring if the plants failed to come up or do not flower as there are many factors out of our control. If I have a specific batch which develops problems I will contact all purchasers in the spring.
