Platanthera chlorantha

This is the native Greater Butterfly species that grows in more alkaline conditions that the Lesser Butterfly. Its individual flowers are smaller but the spur is much longer and the flower has the scent of vanilla. It can be found in a variety of situations in the wild including woodland, rough grazing and chalkland.This seasons tubers are larger than usually offered.
