This is a very interesting species found on the eastern seaboard of Canada and on Newfoundland. It is found in depressions on treeless turf and creeping willow in peaty soil on the top of limestone. It only grows between 10 and 20 cm tall in order to combat the harsh environment.
This is the second time I have had this species on offer and they proved as easy as the bigger pubescens.
Plants will be sent out potted from October to March.
