A cross between henryi and speciosum with smallish double flowers on short stems to a maximum height of 20 cm. They have grown well this spring and all plants have produced numerous flowers. Because of the overall size, I would recommend this species is grown in a pot rather than the garden. The rhizomes offered are a good size for two species that have a relatively small rhizome system.
Plants are sent out ready potted to UK customers when fully dormant from October to March.
