An interesting hybrid between B striata and B ochracea. It can be grown in the garden in full sun or in a pot. In a very cold winter the plant should be mulched to avoid the pseudo-bulbs becoming daminged. Pots should be stored in a frost free greenhouse or garage. The plant responds to being fertilized on a regular basis. Division should take place after flowering has finished in order.
This particular clone is a very vigourous form which will multiply rapidly because the large size of the pseudobulbs. This year it flowered on spikes between75cm and 1 m in late June to early August.
Plants are normally sent out potted with full growing instructions to customers in the UK. They can normally be sent during the period SEPTEMBER to MARCH whilst the plant is dormant.
