ORDERS WILL BE SENT OUT LATE AUGUST.
Another quite widespread native known by its flower shape as the Pyramid Orchid is found in variety of grassland areas, usually in alkaline or neutral conditions. It is a good orchid to put into a meadow or wildflower lawn and usually thrives. It normally starts regrowth in the middle of September but is slower to develop a lax rosette of sword like leaves. Flowering takes place in late June through July. It also grows happily in a cold greenhouse, preferably in a plunged terracotta pot. This years plants are of good sized tuber and should flower.
Plants are normally sent out potted with full growing instructions to customers in the UK. They can normally be sent during the period AUGUST to NOVEMBER after which time growth is such that the rosette may get damaged.
